We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about environmental consulting and urban forestry and wants to make a positive impact on the environment and the community. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience consulting in a management level role. Additionally, they will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, think critically, and be capable of producing environmental solutions focused on trees in the urban environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project timelines and delivery
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Manage budgets and resources effectively
• Provide training and mentorship
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Essential skills:

• CAD, GIS
• Project management
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Report writing and editing
• Software and data management skills

Essential qualifications:

• Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Arboriculture or Urban Horticulture

• Tree valuation
• Landscape / tree pit design
• Soil specifying
• Tree selection
• Tree transplanting
• Tree identification
• Tree physiology and plant biology
• QTRA risk assessment
• Tree health and condition assessment
• Arboriculture reports for development applications
